Study visits

Study visits are offered at Friday March 24. The bus will leave 2.00 pm. There are two alternatives: Astra Zeneca and Volvo Cars. Please choose which one to go when registering.

Your visit at the AstraZeneca research site in Gothenburg will be hosted by Jan-Olof Jacke, CEO of AstraZeneca Sweden and Cecilia Hallengren, VP HR Global Medicines Development (GMD) and HR Regional Lead Sweden

HR speech at Astra Zeneca: "Be more you – a journey to a sustainable organization"
AZ, like most companies, needs HR professionals at their best. Individuals that are active and excited about both their own future and the future success of the company. With the “Be more you” initiative, HR at AstraZeneca is putting focus on development of HR people and the HR function to support the business to meet future challenges.

Volvo Cars

Brand Experience Center
Most welcome to Volvo Cars in Gothenburg. At Volvo Cars, you will meet Cecilia Nesser, VP Center of Expertise, People & Organisation, Volvo Car Group who will introduce you to the company. There after a study visit will take place at the Brand Experience Center where you will get at a guided tour around Volvo Cars’ exhibitions focusing on design, safety, environment and connected cars. Thereafter an Employer Branding speech will be held by Robert Malm, Employer brand manager at Volvo Cars on the theme:
"Volvo Cars Employer Brand - For a new generation competences"
Volvo Cars journey of transformation, delivering new generation premium, safe and sustainable products for convenient mobility, require major efforts to attract and retain the right talents. A particular challenge for the organization is attracting new types of competences not historically common for the automotive industry. Competences more perceived to be needed by the high tech software, IT and even gaming industries. Our global Employer Brand initiatives must secure that the new generation competences needed not only are aware of our company, but feel a genuine desire to join us. A key for achieving this is to build engagement and motivation amongst our current employees. We put people at the heart of everything we do.
